About Tim White

With hands-on experience as a race mechanic, Tim has acquired practical mechanical skills. Complementing this, he has obtained multiple engineering degrees.

His international work as a motorsport engineer, specializing in vehicle dynamics, handling, and simulation, coupled with years of data analysis, make Tim exceptionally qualified to care for and enhance your competition car.

In 2015, Tim made the exciting move to the United States.
He embarked on a journey with a renowned vehicle dynamics consultancy, collaborating with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), motorsport tire manufacturers, and prominent race teams.

Tim's roles encompassed a wide array of services, including providing vehicle dynamics and simulation expertise, offering trackside engineering support, conducting tyre testing and development, and delivering insightful training seminars to engineers and students.

Tim started by working in a motorsport software development company, focusing on race strategy and data management tools. Along the way, Tim held various engineering positions and gained valuable experience.

His passion for motorsport took him to Australia, where he had the opportunity to work as both a Performance Engineer and a Race Engineer in the thrilling Australian V8 Supercars series. Additionally, Tim's expertise has taken him all over the world.

As a freelancer, he has worked as a data, performance, strategy, and race engineer in prestigious series such as the World Endurance Championship, IMSA, European Le Mans Series, BTCC, Australian V8 Supercars, and the IGTC, among others.

Tim's diverse experience in different motorsport disciplines and across various continents has made him extremely versatile and adaptable. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a global perspective to every project he undertakes. Tim's expertise guarantees that your racecar will receive top-notch care and attention, no matter the series or location.

In his recent career, he's maintained a close link to New Zealand motorsport which has largely come through race engineering GT3 cars where he has accumulated countless wins and multiple NZ titles, commuting from overseas before permanently relocating to New Zealand.
